Here’s a rare opportunity to own part of my artistic process. Earlier this year, I was commissioned to paint a series of DC and Old Town Alexandria cityscapes. As part of my study of landmarks, I painted a miniature version of the Jefferson monument during the cherry blossom season. Another unusual aspect of this piece is the combination of use of watercolor and charcoal which resulted in a blend of soft and bold. The piece is paired with a unique handmade 6.25" x 6.25" frame.
